Arda Turan could be thinking about hanging up his boots and putting an end to his footballing career, which he started at Galatasaray. The attacker took part in his first professional match for the team at 18 years old and now it looks as though he is about to come full circle.
At 35, Turan has not enjoyed too much game time or played any kind of important role in recent years. After leaving Barcelona it took him a number of years to play in more than 20 matches in a season.
It was revealed in a report by 'Hurriyet', that Arda Turan has left the door open for a possible retirement. Perhaps it will be this year, as it is the same year in which his contract expires at Galatasaray.
"In order to make this decision, I will have to sit down with my family and with Galatasaray. These are important decisions, and ones which require consultation", he commented.
Up until now in the current campaign, Arda Turan has featured in nine matches, two of them in the starting lineup. A measley amount.
