Newcastle and Aston Villa are eyeing up Fulham striker, Ross McCormack as the ideal man to lead them back to the Premier League. The 2016/17 season will be Aston Villa's first ever season outside of the Premier League and only Newcastle's second, meaning that both clubs will be wanting a speedy return to the top flight.
Despite Fulham finishing just two places above the relegation zone in the Championship last season, McCormack enjoyed a successful season personally scoring 23 goals in all competitions for the Cottagers.
It is thought that Fulham would accept bids in the region of £12m for their prolific goalscorer.
