Real Sociedad push for Sadiq

Umar Sadiq could be, along with Raul de Tomas, the La Liga striker who has received the most offers in this transfer window. The Almeria striker excelled last season, when his side achieved promotion.

He is also excelling in the 2022-23 season with the Andalusian side in La Liga. In three games, the Nigerian scored two goals which, added to the goals he scored in the last two seasons (22 in each year), made other teams interested in signing him.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Basque team have targeted the player as a replacement for Isak, who signed for Newcastle and left a figure of around 70 million euros in the club's coffers.

Meanwhile, the 'SER' channel went further and assured that Real Sociedad sent a proposal of 20 million euros. However, the Almeria side pointed to the 30 million euro clause that the player has.
