Zaldua's injury is not concerning: a grade one calf injury which occurred against Espanyol, but the fact it is 14 days until the end of the season means he may not return.
Illarramendi, on the other hand, is definitely out for the rest of the season and a good part of next term as he could be out for another four months if his operation goes well.
"It's very bad because both Zurutuza and him were key for this such young team and it's a shame because of the such great work they've done all year," Imanol Alguacil said on Illarramendi.
Sangalli was also operated on recently, on 25th June to be precise, and he will be out for around six months after suffering a knee injury.
Adnan Januzaj and Martin Odegaard are also not expected to return either.
Barrenextea, now back, and Ander Guevara are the other men who have picked up injuries since the restart.
