Real Madrid to face Melilla in Copa Del Rey

The draw took place on Friday for the stage of the competition where teams from La Liga come into the domestic cup competition. 

Real Madrid, who sit fourth in the league after a sticky run of form, will face the Segunda Division B side first of all away from home and the second leg will be played at the famous Santiago Bernabeu. 

UD Melilla are based in the autonomous Spanish city of the same name, in the North of Africa, which shares a border with Morocco.

The first game, will take place at the 12,000 capacity Estadio Municipal Alvarez Claro on the provisional date of the 31st October, with the return fixture, in significantly more glitzy circumstances, taking place on the 5th December. 

Melilla are currently top of the fourth group of the Segunda Division B with 19 points.
