Real Madrid pick prime goalkeeper target

The current European champions have reportedly settled on the Roma goalkeeper to replace their current number one Keylor Navas, having been monitoring his performance this season. 

According to 'Marca', Alisson is the better value option with an estimated transfer value between £43.9million and £52.7million, almost half of what Chelsea and Manchester United would be demanding for their keepers. 

Not only do De Gea and Courtois have hefty transfer pricetags, they would also expect double the wages that Alisson would be reportedly willing to accept. 

All three shotstoppers are tipped to be in the starting squad for their respective teams in the World Cup. Alisson maintained a clean sheet for Brazil as they defeated Russia 3-0 in an international friendly on Friday.

De Gea's Spain drew with Germany 1-1, whilst Courtois withdrew from Belgium's victory over Japan following a short-term injury and has since returned to Chelsea for rehabilitation.
