Real Madrid approach River Plate for Franco Mastantuono

Real Madrid have made contact with River Plate to ask for Franco Mastantuono, according to Fabrizio Romano. It is worth remembering that the 'Merengues' have been tracking the young midfielder for some time now.

The scouts see in Mastantuono the new Fede Valverde because of their similarities on the pitch and because they both stood out from very early on in South American football. 

Despite the Argentine renewing his contract with the 'Millonario', Real Madrid have not stopped their interest in signing him. As the same journalist reported in March, the 'Merengue' club have continued to send their scouts to Argentina to keep tabs on the player. 

The Spanish giants plan is to wait for the young player to come of age, but they are starting to make it clear to River Plate that their interest is real. However, they are not the only club looking to sign the Argentinian playmaker.
