Real Madrid and Belgium breathe easy: Hazard only has strain

Eden Hazard's latest injury concerns with Belgium set alarm bells ringing. The footballer had to go off in the Nations League semi-final against France because of an injury. 

Finally, 'Marca' indicated, it was just a scare. The tests the Belgium captain had ruled out a tear which would have seen him ruled out for several weeks. 

The cited source says that it is just a strain. It is still not known whether the player will stay with Belgium for the third/fourth place play-off or whether he will return to Madrid. 

'Los Blancos' would rather the Belgian returned to the Spanish capital so he can be treated by their own medical staff while Belgium are still confident or having him for Sunday. 

The fact that Real Madrid's match this weekend has been postponed because of the South American World Cup qualifiers means that Hazard has more time to recover.

Belgium coach Roberto Martinez was the one who confirmed Hazard's injury after the match against France. Finally, it was just a scare and the Belgian will hardly be out of action.
