Ramos gets injured and says goodbye to first chance of winning trophy

Mauricio Pochettino has made a decision with Sergio Ramos. The Spain international will finally not make his PSG debut this Wednesday and he will not play on Sunday either.

The French club said that the defender suffered a left calf injury in training last week. He will be out for at least a week. 

This means he will miss at least PSG's next two games, the friendly against Sevilla and the match with Lille on Sunday.

Ramos was aiming to be back for Wednesday's match with Sevilla, the club where he started off before joining Real Madrid.

Pochettino's initial intention, before the injury, was for Ramos to rest against Sevilla and be fit for the Super Cup clash. 

However, the injury he picked up in the return to training means the Real Madrid player will be out for at least another week. 

A lot of the big names will be missing for PSG's friendly with Sevilla. Neither Mbappe, nor Wijnaldum, nor Neymar are in the squad list. Achraf Hakimi is there though.
