Ramis calls for Eibar to strengthen in defence

The defender did not like the perfomance of his team against Espanyol. "When we go in front, we have to stay solid at the back. We are conceding lots of goals. We are also struggling to score."

What they have to do is "show the intensity of recent years". Mendilibar's men will have to work hard to turn the situation around because they are in 19th in the table. 

Their next matc is away from home against Levante. Taking into account the team's poor form, it will be a tough match for them, but the fact they came so close to beating Atletico Madrid last time out made clear that the club know how to fight. 

In any case, Ramis will stay at the club. Not long back, he signed a new contract and thereby confirmed his presence at Eibar for the coming seasons. That will allow him to continue being the captain.
