PSG have work to do in January. Their biggest stars will be playing for their national teams at the World Cup in Qatar but there are important players who need new contracts. Marco Verratti, Sergio Ramos and Presnel Kimpembe will need those renewals in order to continue at PSG. However, Ramos' contract is more urgent because he could leave in summer if he does not sign a new contract.
According to 'L'Equipe', the PSG board will work on their contracts as soon as possible. The club are satisfied with their performances and there will be no problems for them to continue in the French side if they agree to do so. The midfielder, who has been a key player since he was 20 years old, could sign his new contract easily.
The former Real Madrid player was absent in his first months at PSG but he made good performances on the pitch, as he is making them nowadays. He has been a starter since the start of the season.
Kimpembe was heavily criticised this season because of his bad relationship with the club. As the months have gone by, it seems that he has managed to turn his situation around, as he has already played ten competitive matches this season. His gradual improvement will help him to renew his contract.
