Marco Asensio has made up his mind that he won't be staying at Real Madrid. He wants game time, to be a key member of the squad and he will look for a new adventure outside of the Spanish club.
'Marca' reported a few days ago that Aston Villa looked to be the club where he would write his next chapter, but PSG, who have been following him for a while, made a last ditch attempt, with an offer that captured the forward's attention. Now 'AS' report that his destiny looks set to unfold at the Parc des Princes.
PSG have reportedly offered him a contract for four or five seasons. Of all the offers on the table, the outlet reports that the Parisian's is the most attractive for the Spaniard, ahead of Chelsea, Newcastle or even Aston Villa.
The French club's project and their persistent interest seem to have pulled Asensio to Ligue 1. Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that PSG have been in extensive talks with Asensio's agent Jorge Mendes, which is why there has been no green light given for the Villa deal. Rather, the footballer now be closer to saying yes to Galtier's team.
Despite the fact that Madrid have tried to get Asensio to reconsider his decision to leave, the player seems set. He won't settle for a supporting role, and that makes it clear that he won't stay under the mandate of Carlo Ancelotti next season.
