PSG's Neymar to miss second leg against Bayern

Bad news for Paris Saint-Germain. Neymar appeared to be in tears as he came off early in the second half of PSG's dramatic 4-3 victory at the Parc des Princes after turning his right ankle.

The 31 year-old challenged for the ball with Lille's Benjamin Andre at the halfway line in the 48th minute when Neymar twisted his ankle in the turf on planting his foot. The Brazilian went down in pain immediately and after initial attempts to stand up, he went down again and left in tears on a stretcher.

As a result, Neymar will miss the second leg against Bayern Munich in the Champions League. The French side announced on social media that the Brazilian striker will be out of action for three weeks.

However, Paris Saint-Germain also explained in the statement that the player does not have a fracture and that his condition will be assessed in 48 hours.
