Christophe Galtier is walking on thin ice at PSG as the French side have not had the season they were hoping for. What's more, he has been accused of racist comments when he was at Nice, which could even land him a jail sentence.
With the controversy to one side, PSG are focused on ending the season in the best possible way, before planning their 2023-24. That's when a new face could emerge in the dugout, that of Zinedine Zidane.
'L'Equipe' claim that the Parc des Princes side are considering the ex-Real Madrid coach once again. They already tried to convince him in the past, but it wasn't possible and the club ended up going for Galtier. This doesn't mean that they've forgotten about him though.
Club owner Al-Khelaifi is optimistic about getting Zidane in. Before, he rejected PSG because he was hoping to be the man to succeed Deschamps at the national side, but after the World Cup he renewed his contract, leaving his options there closed.
'RMC Sport', however, maintain that Zidane is looking for a new long-term project and his favourite choice would be Juventus. If the Turin side gives him a call, he won't have to think about it for a long time.
If they don't manage to convince him this time, PSG have several other names on the table. Roma's Jose Mourinho is Luis Campos' favourite. Marcelo Gallardo, who's been a free agent since he left River is also on the agenda, and Bologna bosds Thiago Motta is another.
