"PSG contacted me and we talked with Galtier"

Paris Saint-Germain were interested in Malcom in the last days of the January transfer window. The Brazilian striker played for Barcelona, but ended up making a name for himself in Russia.

Zenit footballer Malcom did not say anything about the French team but has already revealed how the first talks between the two sides went in an interview with 'Championat'.

"They contacted me and we talked to the coach. I am happy that such a great club are interested in me. I am not worried or upset that the transfer did not proceed," he said. 

"I have a contract with Zenit and I respect that because they have always treated me very well. PSG's interest is a sign that I'm on the right track," the striker concluded.
