Presnel Kimpembe has been struggling with a serious Achilles tendon injury since 'Le Classique' against Olympique de Marseille on 26th February, but he is finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
According to the latest information from 'L'Equipe', the French central defender's recovery is going well and he should be able to make his return to the pitch between mid-November and early December, i.e. before 2024.
However, Kimpembe will face stiff competition for a place in Luis Enrique's starting XI.
The good performances of new signings Skriniar and Hernandez, added to the imperiousness of captain Marquinhos, should make the French world champion's task more difficult.
