The Championship clash between Preston and Sheffield Wednesday this Saturday saw a controversial incident which has got people talking in England.
It is similar to what happened between Michel and Valderrama in a La Liga match between Valladolid and Real Madrid in 1991 when Michel of Real Madrid touched the Colombian.
On this occasion, Darnell Fisher and Callum Patterson were the men involved. The Preston player first hugged his opponent at a set piece and then touched his genitals twice!
The Sheffield Wednesday player could not believe it. The incident went unpunished by the referee, but the FA are now investigating this incident. He could well get a lengthy ban.
The match ended 1-0 to the home side thanks to a Tom Barkhuizen goal in the 48th minute. The visitors played with 10 men after Josh Windass was sent off in the 17th minute.
