Pochettino to ship 15 players out, earning €300m

After a season to forget, the Chelsea board announced the signing of Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager for next season. Without further ado, the Argentine boss has already started to make decisions in terms of the squad.

According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the Blues are not ruling out the possibility of getting rid of up to 15 players to restabilise the club's finances, and get in a bit of money to be have the wiggle room to get in some big signings for next season.

Faced with this situation, the London club have priced the players who have been labelled as those who could leave and there they hope to get around €300 million all together if they sell everyone. 'Poch' really wants to undertake a 'spring clean' of the squad.

Therefore, those who may leave are: Mason Mount (85 millon), Connor Gallagher (45), Mateo Kovacic (40), Christian Pulisic (30), Edouard Mendy (30), Ruben Loftus-Cheek (30), Trevoh Chalobah (30), Hakim Ziyech (18), Callum Hudson-Odoi (11), Cesar Azpilicueta (5), Kalidou Koulibaly (loan), N'Golo Kanté (free), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (free), Joao Felix (end of loan) and Denis Zakaria (end of loan).

We will have to see what happens in the transfer window, but what is for sure is that Chelsea will also be trying to get back some of the €600 million they invested in signings for this season. However, it is clear that this time they will not be able to spend as much as that.
