Endrick made his debut in a Real Madrid shirt in the early hours of Wednesday 31 to Thursday 1 against Milan and showed some glimpses of his quality. The second game of the tour will be against Barcelona, so the Brazilian will take part for the first time in a match of this nature.
The striker spoke to Real Madrid TV ahead of the clash: "Playing in a 'Clasico' is a dream for any kid and we're going to give everything to win". He is aiming to start the game, just as he did against the 'Rossoneri'.
"Since I was a child I have been watching Madrid matches. I am very happy for everything that is happening to me. On my debut, I remembered my parents and my girlfriend, who were at the stadium. I have no words, it's what I wanted. To see my family happy and happy for everything. At home, I have a games room and I'm going to keep this shirt", he said.
He also praised his team-mate Arda Guler, with whom he had a perfect understanding on the pitch at Soldier Field in Chicago: "We talk to each other. I'm very happy to play with him. He is a great young player. We have to train a lot to play and to be able to help the team."
As for the rest of the squad, he said: "There are great players at Madrid and I can talk to them, train with them. I have Luka Modric and Vini here now. They are incredible players and when I return to Madrid I will play with Fede, Bellingham, Mbappe... I'm going to ask them for advice, I'm here to work and to learn."
He also spoke about how he has been received by the fans in the Spanish capital: "In Brazil I have a lot of fans, but I didn't expect this in Madrid. It's the best club in the world and the affection they gave me was crazy. I'm looking forward to helping everyone and, if I could, sign the shirts of all the fans."
