Pellegrini states that Fornals needs time

Fornals arrived at West Ham from Villarreal this summer for 28 million euros. The Spaniard, however, has not been performing brilliantly in London and has played 16 games, many of them which he has come on from the bench, only producing one goal and an assist.

"I think that Pablo Fornals, like any player who comes to the Premier League, needs time to adapt to the league. We always have confidence in him and we have trust that he will become the player that we want", the Chilean coach explained.

Fornals was one of the stand-out players at Villarreal last season, playing 50 games and scoring 5 goals. West Ham's situation in the table isn't goos, as they are 15th place with 16 points, only two places above the relegation zone.
