Palmer makes Premier League history with four first-half goals

The first half between Chelsea and Brighton was a crazy affair. From Robert Sanchez's big miss at the start of the game to Cole Palmer's historic milestone, which allowed the Blues to go into the break two goals up. 

The Spanish goalkeeper's poor performance contrasted perfectly with the English playmaker's impressive one. While Sanchez made two blunders that led to the Seagulls' opening goal and allowed them to pull a goal back later in the game, Cole Palmer stole the show. 

The former Cityzens player restored parity in the 21st minute and just seven minutes later gave the home side the lead from the penalty spot. However, that was not enough for the Three Lions international, who three minutes later doubled the lead with a lovely free kick and signed off his historic achievement by adding a fourth before the break. 

In doing so, the Manchester City youth international became the first player in Premier League history to score four goals in the first half of a match.
