Palace £26m Sakho bid accepted

Liverpool have accepted a bid of £26m from Crystal Palace for defender Mamadou Sakho.

According to 'Sky Sports', the 27-year-old is on his way to London to complete his medical.

Sakho spent the end of last season at the Eagles and was a big hit, being nominated for their Player of the Season award despite playing just 8 games during his loan spell.

Crystal Palace have had bids for the French international rejected earlier in the window, but it is understood that Liverpool have accepted a bid of £24m with £2m in add-ons.
