Mesut Ozil played football against this Tuesday. After a long period of inactivity, the midfielder made his Fenerbahce debut.
He started the game from the bench, but Erol Bulut brought him on in the second half for Mame Thiam.
He did not touch the ball very much, but he was key to Fenerbahce's second goal which got them the victory.
In the 88th minute, Ozil got the ball near the Hatayspor goal, he drove the ball towards the goal and passed to his right. The move ended with an own goal by Jean Claude to make it 0-2. Despite the hosts getting a late consolation, Fenerbahce won 1-2.
He only touched the ball twice in those 15 minutes, but it was enough for him to make an impact.
