Mesut Ozil has been kept apart from the rest of the Fenerbahce squad because of ill discipline. He admitted he was to blame, but the German player still wants to form part of the club.
This time, it is agent Erkut Sogut who spoke to 'Mixed Zone' where he defended Mesut Ozil from criticism. He also spoke about Ozil's opening weeks at Fenerbahce.
"Mesut loves the club. He signed in January last year for three and a half seasons and he did not receive any money for the first six months," he commented.
On his day to day life, Ozil is training with Ozan Tufan "so that he is not on his own"
"It's a temporary measure which could end at any moment," Ozil's agent said.
