Atletico and Barcelona are out of the Champions League. The two Spanish teams know that they will not be in the last 16. Their journey ends and another one will begin in the Europa League.
But before that, Simeone and Xavi's side still have one match left in Europe's top competition. UEFA has already published the referees for their respective matches.
Italian Daniele Orsato will referee next Tuesday's Porto-Atletico de Madrid match in the final round of Champions League Group B fixtures. Romanian Radu Petrescu will referee Viktoria Plzen-Barcelona in Group C.
Orsato, who refereed RB Leipzig-Real Madrid a week ago, will be joined by his compatriot Massimiliano Irrati as the VAR and fellow Italians Ciro Carbone and Alessandro Giallatini as assistants, Davide Massa as fourth official and Dutchman Pol van Boekel as VAR assistant.
At the Mesta Plzne Stadium, Petrescu's refereeing team will be completed by Romanian referees Radu Ghinguleac and Mircea Mihail Grigoriu as assistants, Marcel Birsan as fourth official, and Ovidiu Haţegan as VAR assistant, who will be in charge of Italian Marco Di Bello.
