Origi, who comes from English side Liverpool, arrived in Milan last Monday to complete his move to the Italian side. This Tuesday morning, Origi came to undertake his medical.
At 27 years-old, the Belgian, 2019 Champions League winner with Liverpool, is looking for a starting role that he was unable to find with Jurgen Klopp in a world class team.
The striker scored key goals in the Champions League semi final against Barcelona and in the final against Tottenham. Despite the lack of an official announcement, Origi will join up with Stefano Poli, AC Milan's manager, for the start of pre season to help start Milan's title defence.
His competition for the position will be Frenchman Olivier Giroud, who won the head coach's and fans' trust with great performances and key goals in the second half of the season, and the Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is currently sidelined until January after an operation on his knee.
Apart from the Champions League in 2019, the Belgian international has also won a European Supercup, a Club World Cup, a Premier League, a League Cup and one FA Cup.
