Amadou Onana is one of the players of the weekend. The Everton midfielder was like a brick wall in the midfield and Premier League leaders Arsenal could not get past him at Goodison Park.
The former Lille man was euphoric and said after the game that he wanted to stay at Everton despite interest from clubs with more money and more sporting potential in England.
"I'm not going anywhere, I'm enjoying here," he shouted at a camera in the dressing room. Clear proof that Onana has fitted in perfectly at Everton.
Onana, at the moment, has been at Everton for 21 matches, but how he plays is more important than his stats as he sits just in front of the defensive line.
