Olimpia sign Adebayor

It was an open secret. The Olimpia president, Marco Trovato, used the arrival of Emanuel Adebayor as one of the best season ticket campaigns in history.

And the fans responded as the club reached almost 14,000 season ticket holders in less than 3 days, in just 60 hours. On Tuesday, at last, the Paraguayan club decided to announce his signing.

Through their social media, Olimpia confirmed that Adebayor had become a new Olimpia player, so he will link up with his ex-Man City teammate Roque Santa Cruz again.

The ex-Arsenal player is now in Paraguay and will be presented in front of the media at the Manuel Ferreira on Wednesday.
