What a season Marco Reus is enjoying. The German international rescued three crucial points for Borussia Dortmund against a Herha Berlin side that finished the match with nine players.
Solomon Kalou opened the scoring with Burki deflecting a shot that the Hertha striker was only too happy to tap into the net. Dortmund got back into the game to make it 1-1 thanks to a goal from Thomas Delaney, before Kalou converted a penalty to put his side 2-1 up heading towards half-time.
Whatever Dortmund manager Lucien Favre said to his team at half-time made a huge difference, and Dortmund looked a team revitalised after the break. A Sancho corner on 47 minutes was converted by Zagadou, and the visitors looked the more threatening for the rest of the game. Then, deep into injury time, Reus combined with Sancho as he has done so often this season to seal the win for Dortmund.
