Corentin Tolisso has already found a new club after five years at Bayern Munich. The midfielder has opted to accept an offer from his former club Olympique Lyon.
The Frenchman lands on a free agent contract and the agreement between the two parties has been signed until 30th June 2027.
Tolisso already made 160 appearances for Lyon, scoring 29 goals and providing 16 assists, making him a great addition for next season after playing a lesser role at Bayern last season.
The return of the midfielder born in Tarare (on the outskirts of Lyon) to the club confirms the desire to reinforce the club's "DNA", something that is reflected in the renewals of academy players Maxence Caqueret and Anthony Lopes, and the return after five seasons at Arsenal of Alexandre Lacazette, who also came through the club's ranks.
As well as winning the 2018 World Cup in Russia with France, Tolisso won 13 titles with Bayern Munich, including the Champions League, the European Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup in 2020.
He also won the Bundesliga five times, the German Cup twice and the German Supercup three times.
