OFFICIAL: Tolisso leaves Bayern

Corentin Tolisso is leaving Bayern Munich. After weeks of uncertainty because his contract was due to expire this June and the club had made no progress in extending it, an official statement has confirmed that he will play for a non-Bavarian club next season. At the moment, it is not clear where he will play.

The Frenchman's importance had been declining in recent years with the Bavarian outfit. When he joined from Olympique Lyon, he joined with a notable status thanks to his good performances in Ligue 1, but as the seasons progressed, he lost his flare and importance under various coaches.

In his time at Bayern, Tolisso has played 118 times, scoring 21 goals and providing 16 assists. He fell just short of surpassing his tally at Lyon, where he made 160 appearances. Now, he heads into the 22-23 campaign hoping to find a new winning project.
