Antonin Kinsky is Tottenham Hotspur's latest signing and was unveiled by the club on Sunday morning. He arrives in north London from Slavia Prague in a deal worth about £12.5m until 2031 after only a few months in the Czechia side.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper has been brought in to ease the burden in the position as Spurs have been desperate to find a first-choice option in between the posts after losing Guglielmo Vicario to an ankle injury on November 24 during the 4-0 win over Manchester City.
Fraser Forster, who had been replacing the absent Italian, was hit by illness which ruled him out of Tottenham's latest 2-1 defeat to Newcastle. Circumstances led 25-year-old keeper Brandon Austin to make his debut.
Kinsky will be aiming to get started at his new club immediately, though his move is subject to the granting of international clearance and a work permit, Spurs have confirmed. The Czech Republic Under-21 player has made 29 appearances for Slavia this season and kept 14 clean sheets.
