The riots from hundreds of Marseille fans have meant the match against Rennes, which was scheduled to take place on Saturday at 21:00, has been cancelled.
"In view of the incidents that occurred this Saturday afternoon at the Olympique de Marseille training centre, the OM-Rennes match has been postponed to a later date", the Ligue 1 statement read.
The bad situation of the Marseille side angered the most radical OM fans, who marched to the sports city on Saturday to demand the resignation of the directors.
The ultras stormed the sports complex, caused a lot of damage to the facilities, burnt a tree and even attacked, assaulted and robbed defender Álvaro González.
