Having been on the hunt this summer of a right-back to compete with Jonathan Clauss, Marseille have now found their chosen one in Panama international Michael Murillo.
The French side, who came third in the 2022-23 season agreed the move with Belgian side Anderlecht, who parted with the 27-year-old for a fee of 2.5 million euros.
Murillo, who played three seasons in the MLS with New York Red Bull before moving to Belgium in 2019, scored 14 goals and made 17 assists in 134 appearances with Anderlecht.
The defender arrives on a two-year deal, having also made 67 appearances for Panama, scoring seven goals and assisting six more.
