OFFICIAL: Juventus complete €40m Costa deal

Costa has enjoyed an impressive season with the Italian champions, joining on a season-long loan in 2017 after falling out with the staff at Bayern. He appeared 47 times for Juve in the 17/18 season, providing 13 assists in the league.

As well as picking up the Serie A title, he also won the Coppa Italia, and helped Juve to make it to the Champions League final. He has now joined the club permanently, as Juventus triggered the option to buy at the end of the loan, securing his services until 2022.

They will give Bayern €40m for the forward, to be paid over two seasons. There is also a €1m add-on clause, that will be activated depending on performance.
