OFFICIAL: Ilaix Moriba returns to Valencia on loan

Agreement reached with RB Leipzig for the loan of Ilaix Moriba until 30th June 2023. Valencia will once again be able to count on the former Barcelona player.

Last season, Ilaix arrived on loan at Valencia in January and helped the team reach the Copa del Rey final, where he provided the assist for Hugo Duro's goal.

This summer, he returns to Mestalla to reinforce Gennaro Gattuso's midfield, who gave the green light for his arrival to team up with Guillamon, Nico Gonzalez, Andre Almeida and Yunus Musah.

In the end, Valencia could not include a buyout clause in the deal for Ilaix Moriba. RB Leipzig made a significant financial effort and do not want to let him go so easily.
