OFFICIAL: Ilaix Moriba reinforces the Valencia midfield

Valencia made official this Friday the signing of Ilaix Moriba. Valencia have got hold of a footballer who is keen to get back to his best after shining at Barcelona last summer. 

Ilaix packed his bags last summer to leave for RB Leipzig. However, he has not had the continuity he wanted and has looked for a departure.

The Guinean has played just 100 minutes for the German outfit, across six games. None of those were as a starter.

Bordalas gains with this signing muscle and presence in midfield. Although he is a totally different type of player, Ilaix is coming to occupy the post that Wass has left for Atletico Madrid. 

Ilaix arrives at the Mestalla on loan and he begins training with his new club this Friday. 

The midfielder becomes the second signing of Bordalas' squad this January, after Eray Comert was signed as a central defender earlier in the week.
