Bayer Leverkusen have announced the signing of 24 year-old Demarai Gray who moves to the German side from Leicester. The English left winger has joined them until 30th June 2022.
The England U21 international, whose contract was ending this summer, has penned an 18 month contract with Bayer Leverkusen. The German press are reporting that the transfer has cost two million euros.
The former Birmingham City man made 169 competitive appearances for Leicester and scored 13 goals.
That said, he has had very few opportunities for the first team. He had got 108 minutes in a couple of match. He had played four matches for the B team, scored three goals and give an assist.
Bayer Leverkusen's sporting director Simon Rolfes described Gray as a "very complete, quick and agile" with lots to offer in attack.
