OFFICIAL: Florenzi to join Milan on loan

It was an open secret, until the clubs made it official. After a successful medical, Alessandro Florenzi has become a new Milan player, joining the club on loan. 

The 30-year-old Italian right-back has signed for the current 2021-22 season with the 'Rossoneri', that is, until 30th June 2022, and will wear the number 25 shirt. 

Although Milan have not given details of the deal, several media outlets have leaked that the deal for his loan has been closed for one million euros and the option to buy is set at 4.5 million. 

If this option to buy is exercised, Milan would finally get the Italian international for a total of 5.5 million. Last season, Florenzi played, also on loan, at PSG, with whom he played 36 official matches, 32 of them as a starter, and scored a couple of goals. 

Florenzi has spent his whole life at Roma, where he trained and made his professional debut, and for whom he has played 279 games, scored 28 goals and provided 33 assists.
