Barcelona made official on Tuesday the renewal of Fermin Lopez. The 20-year-old Andalusian footballer has agreed a contract extension with the Catalan giants for the next four seasons with a 400 million euros termination clause.
The 'Cules' academy player is starting to play a more important role under Xavi Hernandez, who is likely to use him more due to Pedri's absence through injury.
In this way, the young midfielder joins other gems from 'La Masia' who are beginning to establish themselves in the Barcelona first team, as Pedri and Gavi did recently.
"The Andalusian midfielder has reached an agreement with the club to extend his contract until 30th June 2027 with a 400-million-euro termination clause," wrote Barcelona on their official website.
