OFFICIAL: Croatia international Barisic joins Rangers

The 25-year-old leaves behind Croatian side NK Osijek, whom Rangers defeated over two legs to reach the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. 

Barisic completed his medical on Monday and moves to the 'Gers' for a fee rising to around £2m, becoming Steven Gerrard's eleventh summer signing. 

The defender has made three appearances for his country. 

Barisic told the club's website “I will give my heart at Ibrox and every other stadium for Rangers, and I think that this is the most important thing for me.

“I am very ready. I want to give everything back to the fans who have sent me so many messages, and I need to pay back the manager and everyone in the club who has believed in me."
