The Portuguese footballer said that he felt betrayed by Manchester United and emphasised that he does not respect Erik ten Hag.
After Ronaldo's controversial interview with Piers Morgan, the English side said that they would "initiate appropiate steps" and these have already arrived.
Manchester United confirmed his departure on their Twitter account: "Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect," they wrote.
Nevertheless, Ten Hag's side also thanked the Portuguese striker for his contributions: "The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford."
Now, Ronaldo will have to look for a new destination after the World Cup as he is a free agent after being kicked-out.
