OFFICIAL: Bernard completes Everton move

The tricky Brazilian moves to Merseyside on a four-year deal, despite interest from Chelsea, West Ham and AC Milan earlier in the window. 

Bernard has featured in several positions during his time in Donetsk, appearing on both wings and also in a central-playmaker role. Having spent five seasons at Shakhtar, the 25-year-old has lifted the Ukrainian League title in four of those and also made 40 appearances in the Champions League. 

Marco Silva has made two new additions to the squad already this summer; former Watford winger Richarlison and left-back Lucas Digne from Barcelona brought Everton's summer spend over £50m. 

The 'Toffees' also aim to bring in 'Blaugrana' duo Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes in before Thursday's 5pm deadline.
