The Julian Araujo transfer saga is finally over. FC Barcelona have announced the Mexican winger as a new player for their reserve team. The defender arrives from Los Angeles Galaxy and signs until June 2026.

Mexican full-back Julian Araujo landed at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat airport to sign his contract in the next few hours with the Barça reserve team. "I'm very happy, it's a dream to be at a great club like Barca and I'll give it my all," said the Mexican.

This Friday, the 'Cules' announced the signing of the former Los Angeles Galaxy defender. The new player signed a contract until June 2030.

"It is expected that in the next few days Julian Araujo will join the Barça reserve team training under the orders of Rafa Marquez," Barça said in a statement.

"The player signed his new contract in the offices of the Joan Gamper training complex, and was accompanied by vice-president Rafael Yuste, Joan Soler, Mateu Alemany, the sporting director, Jordi Cruyff and Jose Ramon Alexanco," he added.
