Allan has joined a new club. The Brazilian has completed his departure from Napoli after months of rumours. He was linked with the likes of Atletico Madrid and Inter.
Finally, Allan will play under Carlo Ancelotti under 30th June 2023. This Saturday, Everton have announced the signing of the midfielder who has been a key player for Napoli. He will wear the number 6 shirt.
Allan had been at the Italians for five seasons and he made 212 appearances. He scored 11 goals and gave 21 assists. The Toffees did not reveal the fee they paid, but several media outlets are reporting that it could be as much as 30 million euros including variables.
"It's a real pleasure to sign for Everton. I am immensely happy to be here. I hope, like I have done in my entire career, I contribute with my performances together with my teammates and that I put in some great games, great performances and win important things. It is a club with a rich history in the Premier League, has real ambition and then there is Professor Ancelotti," Allan told the club's website. He also said that Everton did everything possible to get him.
