OFFICIAL: Alex Sandro extends Juve deal until 2023

Alex Sandro has signed a new Juventus contract running to 2023, ending speculation he could leave the Serie A champions for a Premier League club.

Since his arrival in 2015, the Brazilian has won three Serie A titles and three Coppa Italia crowns, becoming an integral part of the Turin based team.  Thus far, Sandro has made 134 appearances for the 'Bianconeri', scoring nine goals. He is the defender who has been the most consistent presence in the team throughout his three years at the club. 

Sandro has been the most creative defender for Juventus; putting 127 crosses into the opposition box, and recording 18 assists. Not only has he been effective in offensive areas of the pitch, Sandro has been equally as effective in his own half. He has recovered the most balls, 724, and is second in the side for the most successful dribbles completed with 220. 

Upon signing his first contract in 2015, the Brazilian said: "The fans can be sure of having a player who will always give 100% to get the win.", and judging by his ever.improving performances and statistics, this is set to continue for at least another five years.
