Odegaard will not travel with Norway for Nations League games

Norway have confirmed on Tuesday that Martin Odegaard will not travel with the national team for their upcoming games in the Nations League during the November international break.

The midfielder will stay in London to work on his best form with the Arsenal staff after recently returning from his ankle injury, which kept him on the sidelines for two months. 

Odegaard saw minutes in the final moments of the game against Inter Milan in the Champions League before making his comeback in the starting XI against Chelsea in the Premier League at the weekend.

Despite a brilliant performance at Stamford Bridge, where he provided the assist for Gabriel Martinelli, the Norwegian has decided to sit out the internationals. Norway will face Slovenia on Thursday before hosting Kazakhstan on Sunday without their skipper.
