Nuri Sahin will play in Turkey for the first time. At 31, the midfielder signs for the next two seasons with Antalyaspor after leaving Werder Bremen.
The club announced the signing through an original video. In it, Sahin is seen sitting in a cafeteria, with a beautiful landscape in front. This happens while he looks over his best moments at Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, and Werder Bremen.
Curiously, there are none from Real Madrid, where he was a failed gamble from José Mourinho. The Turkish player didn't manage to find a spot and a serious injury left him completely out, so he left for Liverpool the following year before returning to Borussia.
After five seasons at the club that made him grow and breakthrough, Sahin went to Werder Bremen. There, the midfielder played 40 matches in two seasons, scoring once and getting six assists.
Now, Sahin leaves Germany for the third time in his career (he also played at Feyenoord) to debut in his country as a star signing for Antalyaspor, where he will team up with the legendary Lukas Podolski.
