Nottingham Forest make new bid for Alex Moreno

Alex Moreno could be close to packing his bags. Betis have received a new offer for the Catalan full-back from Nottingham Forest. The Premier League side raised the bid to 10.6 million euros and the 'Telegraph' reported that Betis would accept the new offer.

The newly promoted side, who have spent more than 90 million euros this summer, are profiting from a Betis side whose accounts are not in a good financial situation and who had valued the left-back at 25 million euros. Manuel Pellegrini's side must sell a player in order to balance the club's books.

Moreno was one of the best players in the last Copa del Rey champions and his departure, less than a week before the start of La Liga, does not leave Pellegrini satisfied and he will have to settle with Juan Miranda.

What remains to be seen is whether the offer is for 100% of the player's rights or only a part of them, as Rayo Vallecano kept a percentage for a possible future sale of their former player.
