Speaking to 'Sky Sports,' Noble said: "He's done exactly what he was asked to do."
"I don't think he could've done much more if I'm being honest. He's come in and I think the chairman would've told him we need to be a Premier League club next season, full stop."
"That has happened. No matter what happens with the gaffer now, he can walk away or stay with his head held high and say 'I've done the job I was asked to do'. He can be proud of that."
"I'd like him to stay. I think he's good and I think he's honest, but it's another decision out of my hands. I'm pretty sure we'll know soon what the outcome is."
The West Ham board are expected to make a decision on Moyes' future after the season comes to a close. Having been involved in a relegation scrap this year, the Hammers will be hoping to steady the ship next campaign.
